Workplace

ARN

We helped auto recyclers ARN  move to a smaller office while supporting a  more flexible work environment

A single prefabricated intervention that reorganised an entire workplace

A strategic rethink on a tight budget
ARN asked us to transform part of their workplace with limited time, limited space, and limited budget. Rather than applying small fixes across the floor - changes that often disappear into the background, we proposed one clear, decisive move: a prefabricated cluster of meeting rooms placed at the heart of the office.

Why the centre? Because it’s where we could make the biggest difference.
The existing layout left teams scattered and circulation loosely defined. By placing the new rooms in the middle, we gave the office a centre of gravity: a calm, acoustically controlled zone for focused work that also reshaped how the wider workplace functions. The intervention creates new edges, new adjacencies, and new opportunities for connection, simply by reorganising the space around a solid, well-designed core.

Prefab as a tool for quality and speed
The meeting rooms were delivered as prefabricated units. This approach reduced disruption, ensured quality, and allowed us to achieve more than the budget would traditionally allow. Clean geometry, warm materials, and thoughtful detailing give the rooms a sense of permanence, while their modular construction keeps the project light, efficient, and scalable.

Every side matters
A strength of this centralised approach is that every façade of the meeting block serves a different purpose: one side supports informal catch-ups, another anchors circulation, another frames shared work tables, and another acts as a backdrop for team spaces. Instead of a single upgrade, ARN gained a renewed workplace ecosystem all driven by a single, cost-effective architectural gesture.

A small project with outsized influence
For ARN, the result is a workplace that feels more intentional and more connected. For us, it’s a reminder that you don’t need a large footprint or an open cheque book to meaningfully improve how people work. You need a clear idea, a smart intervention, and a willingness to let simplicity lead
