Our work spans a range of disciplines including master planning, interior architecture, and experiential design—bringing together research-driven thinking with creative spatial solutions. From developing the technical design for The Capitol Theatre and its immersive show Northern Light in Canada, to shaping a culturally integrated master plan for the Rejuvenation of an Ancient Village in China, and crafting the concept for Langkawi Paradise Gardens in Malaysia, we’ve worked across sectors including heritage, tourism, and themed entertainment. Our role often bridges vision and execution—translating narrative, cultural context, and environmental sensitivity into tangible design strategies. These projects reflect our ability to collaborate across disciplines and cultures, merging architecture, storytelling, and landscape into meaningful, engaging destinations.

ANCIENT VILLAGE

As part of the design team, we contributed to the development of a visionary master plan aimed at revitalizing an ancient village on the outskirts of a major Chinese city. Our goal was to create a living historical destination that respectfully integrated heritage, contemporary village life, and experiential programming.

Our work began with an on-site survey and in-depth research into the historical, cultural, and environmental context of the village. These investigations informed the spatial and architectural strategy for a mixed-use destination that combined preserved historical architecture with living museums, artisan workshops, working farms, and seasonal cultural programming.

The design was structured around the village’s canal network, with a careful balance between authentic historical preservation and the integration of new public spaces, retail, dining, and performance areas. A key aspect of the plan was the coexistence of local residents with immersive visitor experiences, allowing modern market life to seamlessly blend with re-creations of village life from the Qing period onward.

This project deepened our understanding of large-scale cultural planning and the role of architecture in shaping authentic, layered environments that honor the past while embracing the present.
