Farrys
A workplace concept in collaboration with Ahrend for Farys that blends biophilic design with the warmth of hospitality. A calm, connected environment shaped by natural materials, intuitive flow, and a focus on wellbeing.
Project Overview
Farys asked us to reimagine their workplace as a more human and future-ready environment. Rather than follow a conventional office layout, we proposed a hospitality-led concept where people feel welcomed and supported throughout the day.
The design draws from biophilic principles—natural materials, layered planting, textured surfaces, and gentle zoning—to create a workplace that encourages focus, collaboration, and comfort. Warm woods, soft green tones, and filtered daylight help break down large floorplates and bring the space to a more human scale.
A Hospitality-Led Workplace
Inspired by restaurant and lounge settings, we created spaces where people can work in multiple modes: long shared tables, tucked-away nooks, or relaxed soft seating. The restaurant zone becomes the social heart of the plan, offering places to meet, pause, or recharge within a warm palette of timber, upholstery, and handcrafted detail
Biophilic Materiality
Natural materials are used to shape both visual comfort and acoustic quality. Timber panelling, green tiles, stone textures, and planting soften transitions and help define space without rigid boundaries. These elements support wellbeing and give the workplace a grounded, calm character
Future-Ready Flexibility
The concept is built on modular components and adaptable layouts, allowing Farys to evolve their workspace without major interventions. This ensures long-term usability and cost-effective change.
The Farys concept shows how workplaces can move beyond pure function to become warm, human, and grounded in natural comfort. It reflects our belief that hospitality-led, biophilic design can meaningfully improve everyday experience and support stronger workplace culture
